Art Direction + Brand Identity Design + Visual System

Worked closely with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung NGO in Lebanon to design the brand identity and visual system for the Working Group on Economy and Development, designed to reflect credibility, economic thought leadership, and future-focused dialogue.

The Working Group on Economy and Development is a platform dedicated to advancing economic dialogue, policy thinking, and sustainable development perspectives related to Syria’s future.

The project focused on creating a clear, authoritative, and contemporary visual identity that reflects institutional credibility while remaining forward-looking and adaptable. The visual system was designed to function seamlessly across research outputs, publications, digital platforms, and event environments, ensuring consistency without rigidity.

Special attention was given to:

  • Visual clarity and hierarchy to support complex economic content
  • Cultural neutrality with regional sensitivity
  • A typographic system designed for bilingual communication
  • A flexible design language capable of evolving with the platform’s long-term vision

The result is a cohesive and scalable brand system that positions the Working Group on Economy and Development as a credible, serious, and future-oriented voice within economic and development discourse.
